My name is Hilary and Mod Glo is my narcissistic little pet project.
Originally, Mod Glo started as my personal health and weight loss journal. I wanted to chronicle the journey to rekindle my glow in the midst of busy motherhood. Specifically, I wanted to lose the baby weight and fit into my skinny jeans again after 2 kids.
But then, after weeks of making friends with the gym and paying very close attention to what I ate, I literally woke up one morning to the realization that I had actually done it; I lost the baby weight and felt amazing. And my skinny jeans suddenly fit me like a glove. It all seemed to happen so quickly, I hadn’t considered what I’d write about once I actually reached my health and fitness goals.
So naturally, Mod Glo needed a brand new direction. Thus, I shifted the focus of this blog from my health, to a journal about cultivating my personal style. This is where I blather about finding elegance in everyday motherhood and all the things that make this busy mama look and feel like I glow - in body, mind, and really cute shoes.
Because even mamas (especially mamas) deserve to glow!
